Terms of Service
Version: 1.0 · Effective date: 11 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Cemre Işıksal, an individual based in İstanbul, Türkiye, who operates ta.ke ("ta.ke", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the ta.ke app for iPhone, its home-screen widget, its Apple Watch app, the website take.international and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Rules, which form part of these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. If ta.ke is later transferred to a company, we will tell you in the app and that company will take our place under these Terms.
1. Who can use ta.ke
You must be 18 or older to use ta.ke. You confirm this when you join. We do not ask for your date of birth. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it. You may hold one account, for yourself only.
2. What ta.ke is
Once a day, ta.ke asks everyone one question. After you answer, you can read anonymous answers from people around the world ("WORLD") for a limited time. ME shows your own history and patterns privately to you. ta.ke has no public profiles, followers or direct messages. ta.ke is not a dating service, a news service, a medical, legal or financial adviser, or an emergency service.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure and for activity on your account. Tell us at support@take.international as soon as you think someone else has accessed your account. We may ask you to sign in again before sensitive actions, such as deleting your account or adding a sign-in method. The information you give us must be accurate, and you may not create an account for someone else or share or sell your account.
4. Your content
Your answers, Curiosities, reflections and reports ("Your Content") stay yours. To run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, translate, moderate and display Your Content inside ta.ke, anonymously, for as long as the feature needs it. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep for the limited periods in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it for advertising.
A submitted Daily answer is final: you cannot edit it or delete it on its own, so think before you share. You can delete all of it at once by deleting your account.
We do not send Your Content to third-party AI models to train them.
5. How WORLD works
Answers appear in WORLD without your name. They show a broad location (city, region or country) only if you leave that setting on. WORLD for each question closes after a limited time and is then removed from public view. Other people may remember or copy what they read, and we cannot stop that.
6. Community Rules and moderation
You must follow the Community Rules. We may review, hold, hide from WORLD or remove content, and restrict or close accounts, to enforce them or to comply with the law. A difficult topic is not, by itself, a violation. If we keep your answer out of WORLD, you can ask for a human review in the app.
7. What you may not do
You may not: break the law through ta.ke; impersonate anyone; collect data about other users; scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the Service; get around blocks, limits or moderation; use automated accounts; or use ta.ke to advertise, spam or contact people off-platform.
8. Our rights in ta.ke
The app, the website, the ta.ke name and wordmark, the design, the daily questions and the other content we create belong to Cemre Işıksal or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. We give you a personal, worldwide, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify or create derivative works from the Service, or use our name or wordmark, without our written permission. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without paying you.
9. Changes and availability
We may change, pause or end features. We will tell you in the app before a material change to these Terms takes effect, and ask you to accept it where the law or our rules require. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete account, or start at take.international/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and has no grace period. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms or the Community Rules; we will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.
11. Disclaimers
ta.ke is provided "as is". Answers in WORLD are other people's views, not ours, and we do not check them for accuracy. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the Service will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
12. Limitation of liability
ta.ke is free to use. To the extent the applicable law allows: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of data, profits or goodwill, or for the content or conduct of other users; and (b) our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and the equivalent of 100 US dollars. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence (Turkish Code of Obligations, Article 115), for death or personal injury, or for fraud, and they do not reduce the mandatory rights of consumers.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute relating to the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in Türkiye, you may also apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees or Consumer Courts within the monetary limits set under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you mandatory protection or the right to bring a claim in your own courts, nothing in these Terms takes those rights away. Before starting a formal dispute, please write to support@take.international so we can try to resolve it within 30 days.
14. Apple
If you downloaded ta.ke from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for ta.ke and is not responsible for any claim relating to it.

16. General
If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor that continues the Service under equivalent terms, and we will tell you first. These Terms are written in English; translations are for convenience, and the English version prevails to the extent the law allows.
17. Where ta.ke is available
ta.ke is offered in every country where the App Store operates except mainland China. You may not use the Service where the law prohibits it, or if you are subject to sanctions that bar us from providing it to you. We make the Service available as is in each country and do not promise that it meets every local requirement beyond those we name in these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the Regional Privacy Supplements.
