Regional Privacy Supplements
Version: 1.2 · Effective date: 12 October 2026
These supplements form part of our Privacy Policy and add the information that specific laws require; where a supplement and the main policy differ, the supplement wins for people it covers. Everything in the main policy applies everywhere: we collect the same minimal data, sell nothing, show no ads, do no cross-app tracking, and everyone can access, correct, export and delete their data through the app or support@take.international.
United States
California (CCPA/CPRA). In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (email, account identifiers, IP address); internet or network activity (product-health events, security logs); approximate geolocation (city or country label, only if you turn it on); and user-generated content. We collected them from you and your device, for the purposes in Section 1 of the Privacy Policy, and disclosed them only to the service providers on our Sub-processors page. We do not sell or share personal information (as "sell" and "share" are defined in the CCPA), so there is nothing to opt out of; we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information except to provide the Service; and we have no actual knowledge of collecting data from anyone under 16. You have the right to know, access, correct and delete your data, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. You may use an authorised agent, who must show your signed permission; we will verify your identity through your account before acting.
Other US states (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island). You can confirm whether we process your data, access it, correct it, delete it and get a portable copy. We do not sell personal data, do not process it for targeted advertising, and do not profile you in ways that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or writing to support@take.international with "Privacy appeal"; we will answer within 60 days (or the period your state sets), and if you disagree you can contact your state Attorney General.
Canada and Québec
We process your data with your consent, which you give by creating an account, and you can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account or turning off optional features. Your data may be stored and processed outside Canada (in Germany, Türkiye, Japan and the United States, see the Sub-processors page), where the authorities of those countries may be able to access it under their laws. The person responsible for protecting personal information, including under Québec's Law 25, is Cemre Işıksal (support@take.international). Before transferring Québec residents' data outside Québec, we assess whether it will receive adequate protection. You can access and correct your data, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Brazil (LGPD)
Our legal bases are performance of contract, legitimate interest and, for the location label, consent. You have the rights in Article 18 of the LGPD: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about who we share data with, information about refusing consent and its consequences, withdrawal of consent, and review of decisions taken solely by automated processing. Our contact for data-protection matters (encarregado channel) is support@take.international. International transfers use the safeguards recognised by the ANPD, including its standard contractual clauses. You can complain to the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).
Japan (APPI)
We use your personal information only for the purposes in the Privacy Policy and do not provide it to third parties except our service providers, as required by law, or with your consent. Your data is handled in Germany (EU), Türkiye, Japan and the United States. The EU and the United Kingdom are recognised by Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission as having equivalent protection; for Türkiye and the United States, our providers are bound by contract to measures equivalent to those of the APPI, and you can ask us for information about those countries' data-protection systems and our measures. Security measures: access control and logging, encryption in transit and of drafts and tokens at rest, and staff confidentiality. You can request disclosure, correction, suspension of use and deletion at support@take.international.
